Don’t You Have Anything Better to Do?

Our mind is a very strange thing. If we have something to work on, when we’re focused on a problem, it comes up with solutions. But when we have nothing to do, it creates problems out of thin air. It fills the gaps with problems that doesn’t even exist.

So the next time you’re worried, or stressed about something, ask yourself a few questions:

Asking the first question zooms out your perspective. The second will show you all the alternate possibilities you could focus on. And the last question will bring back focus to a better goal.

Take out a journal and try that next time. See how much of your problems are imaginary and completely irrelevant.
